Talkin' Babies

Hello...

…I am the 2YO EdgeMan and I write exclusively about Two-Year-Old Maiden horse racing. It’s been my passion for nearly 50 years. Although it is a narrow segment of horse racing, it allows me to dig very deep and produce unique information on this segment. Trust me, you’ll not see anything else that is nearly as thorough as what I produce. I even published a book on the topic last year, ‘Handicapping Two-Year-Old Thoroughbreds; Consistently Pick Winners in 2YO Maiden Special Weight Races’. It is available on Amazon. In the book, I share my six core components to handicap 2YO MSW races, as well as several intangible components.

I don’t consider myself to be a ‘Pickster’, instead my goal is to provide thoughtful information in a fun and creative format. I lay out facts and figures to help you make your own educated decision on the likely winner of each race that I cover. However, to meet my readers’ request, I provide my pick in every race. The difference is that I pick only one horse - not several. I find it disingenuous when others select many.

As you likely know, the two-year-olds don’t start racing until April, but I’ll work to share some of the more interesting learnings that I uncover during my offseason efforts.
